February 28, 2014 | Leave a Comment
West Yellowstone in Montana is keeping kids busy during the winter snow months. Activities will continue through March 9th for the children. Activities include ice skating, cross country skiing, snowshoeing as well as other winter time experiences.
Each weekend event provides children with great outdoor fun during a quality learning adventure. The program is provided with partnerships including Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center, Forest Service, Yellowstone Park as well as other providers.
The focus of the program is to provide children with unique experiences. They are allowed to try new things during the winter season. Each weekly program takes place over the weekend days. Each session uses strategic learning principles to provide the children with real learning experiences.
Safety lessons are also given in the area of the child’s interest. If the child is learning how to snowshoe, then they are given detailed instructions and learning skills to be successful in the program.
One of the best things about the Kids ‘N’ Snow Programs held at Yellowstone is every effort is made to keep costs low for the families with participating children. This time of year is exciting for the whole family. Montana has plenty to offer to all during the cold winter months.
