Montana Parks: Increased In Number Of Visitors In 2013

In 2013, more people visited Montana parks than in the last several years. Visitation within the state of Montana increased approximately five percent this past summer. Over one and a half million visitors strolled through Montana parks during the busy months of the tourist season.
State Parks which are located in Montana seen an increase of around twelve percent over the past year statistically for visitors. It is wonderful to see more people are getting out and traveling to the area than before. Montana holds many benefits to tourist including extravagant views and experiences which are found no other place.
It will be exciting to see what next year holds for tourist locations in Montana, especially state and local parks. They are popular and bring in business to the state. Thankfully, flooding in some areas this year and the government shut down issues did not affect the overall numbers for this busy season in Montana! The state is looking forward to an even better season next year!
