Salute Your Heroes In Missoula Memorial Rose Garden

At the corner of Brooks and Mount Streets of Missoula, there’s a poignant mark of respect named Memorial Rose Garden to those who’ve served their country and the Montanans who’ve sacrificed their lives for the sake of country in a variety of historic events. The memorials of such heroes of different events are kept separated from one another in the Rose Memorial Garden of Missoula with markers presenting special set of words.
Today, the Memorial Rose Garden possesses more than twenty five hundred rose bushes which are preserved as a monument to the fatalities and veterans of the United States’ wars in the twentieth century including those in the Second World War, Vietnam, Grenada, the Persian Gulf, Panama and Korea. This memorial garden was established in the year 1944 while the first plantation of rose bushes dates in 1946.
The Korean War memorial, which is located in the northern end of the garden bears in the marker the words “Always Remember.” The World War II memorial bears words by Laurence Binyon promoting the vision that these heroes will never grow old rather live always in the hearts of people. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial presents words by Tom Crosser paying tribute the thirty six thousand Montanans who served in this battle.
The Missoula Law Enforcement and Fire Department Memorial at the southern end of Rose Memorial Garden uphold words saluting the employees of these departments who’d lost their lives in serving Missoula County. There’s also a twelve foot sculpture made of bronze paying homage to the veterans.
There are a number of hotels near Memorial Rose Garden ranging from expensive to inexpensive. A true patriot must not miss out saluting the nation’s numerous true heroes, and so he or she shouldn’t miss out visiting a place like Memorial Rose Garden.
